Make Someone Happy Campaign
February – June 2011
The Make Someone Happy Campaign is Anne-Marie House’s annual appeal to its volunteers, donors, fellow community members, neighbors and friends for a few dollars to help continue funding its mission of supporting children and families experiencing homelessness. AMH community members will receive two letters and two e-mails asking for your support. Read the second “Make Someone Happy” letter from AMH Board President, Frank Manley. (And, you can read the first “Make Someone Happy” letter too). The dollars you donate are critical to helping us maintain our facility, provide nutritious meals, transportation and educational and life skills programming for our children and families, and more. Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $22,000, by a generous group of matching gift donors!
Please help Anne-Marie House today by making a contribution in any amount you choose. Here are just a few suggested levels and what your donation can do for the children and families living at AMH:
- $25 buys one year of school supplies for one child
- $50 provides one evening meal for all of our resident families
- $100 covers tuition and supplies for one adult learning course

4th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Anne-Marie House
September 18, 2011 1:00PM-5:00PM
Join Olympic Race-walker Joanne Dow on September 18, 2011 for the 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Anne-Marie House. This fundraising event for Anne-Marie House, a temporary home for families experiencing homelessness, is organized by the Greater Nashua Interfaith Hospitality Network (GNIHN). Their goal is the elimination of homelessness, one family at a time.
Sept. 18th, First Baptist Church, 121 Manchester St, Nashua, NH
Registration: 1:00pm, Walk: 2:15pm, Run: 3:00pm
- This is a USATF certified course.
- The first 200 registered participants will receive T-shirts
- The top finishers in all age groups will receive medals.
- Up to $10,000 in matching educational grants (provided by a generous corporate ) awarded to schools whose walkers and runners (students, parents, faculty, and friends) together raiase more than $1,000 in pledges for Anne-Marie House.
Entry Fee: $20 before September 18 and $25 on race day. (Entry Fees are non-refundable)
